About Cassandra Martino:
Born and bred in Miami, Cassandra got her first real taste of public relations during the world-renowned Art Basel Miami Beach in 2004 and hasn’t looked back since. After cultivating strong media relationships through high-profile events at Art Basel, she joined Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications, one of South Florida’s most respected travel PR firms, as an intern in 2006 while studying Public Relations at Florida International University. Her drive and knack for securing media wins quickly propelled her through the ranks, earning a reputation for consistently delivering results for her clients.
Representing some of the most exotic resorts and island destinations, she was able to fuel her passion for travel, while continuing to build solid relationships with notable journalists. A few years traveling to some of the most pristine beaches in the Caribbean left Cassandra with a strong grasp of the luxury lifestyle market, making her transition to KSVP Media & Events in 2008 a natural next step. With a focus primarily on high-end luxury lifestyle, fashion, beauty, jewelry, spirits and hospitality brands, Cassandra was an invaluable asset to the KSVP team bringing with her expertise in the travel and tourism and real estate arenas.
After her tenure at KSVP, Cassandra further honed her public relations expertise at Roc Media PR in 2009, managing both local and national media efforts for a diverse roster of high-profile clients. In addition to overseeing editorial placements, she played a hands-on role in fashion shows, launch parties and client events — collaborating closely with leading editors, stylists and wardrobe teams to spotlight some of the industry’s brightest talent.
In April 2010, she launched CMPR, where creativity and strategic vision continue to define her work in lifestyle and culinary public relations.
